Le vieux Port du Tremblet

There is a very beautiful black sand beach, which was created during the lava flow in 2007. It is the youngest beach on the island and even in the world. This beach is particularly surprising for its golden-green reflections, due to the presence of a large amount of olivine crystals. The Old Port is also bordered by a cliff covered with superb green vegetation. During heavy rain events, short-lived waterfalls flow from the cliff directly onto the beach.
